I've tryed both out and they are both very similar grip wise, feel wise though if you like a looser skate shoe kind of feel then 5.10 but if you want a shoe that feels like a clip in xc shoe for flat then teva. Five tens are really good for tricks wtc cause I the flexy sole and the wide platform but teva are small and really comfy, if your are Gona go trail on flats then the teva is the shoe you would want 
O my bad. Cheers tim A xc edit that is what i would want a trail edit to look like didn't do it for me. Great shot and angles though Its so inspirational to see all the effort him and his family put in. It still amazes me how he came out of no where and just won. I think he needs a new beanie
